I'm a professional chef, originally from Sardinia, graduated at the prestigiuos Chef Academy. I work in a catering because is a social job. Infact I like to stay with the people, share events, emotions, and have a feedback directly from my guests. I love Italian traditional kitchen and also fusion cuisine where i get mixed up my roots with the rest of the world. I like to share with people my knowledge and passions, telling the depth of Italian cuisine and discovering the differences between other cultures. I love all the entire world of food, from taste to nutrition, from products to workers, that's why i've studied Food, Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University. So for ethical and tasteful choice I use only seasonal and local products, when possible from organic farms, fair-trade chain and Slow Food districts. I prefer a quick cooking method that preserves the tastes, the colors and the nutrients, which involves the use of many spices and herbs, international products and recipes reinterpreted with Italian style. My home is in typical Tuscan style and offers a cozy and familiar atmosphere where by modern culinary techniques we will exalt the traditional flavors. In the house there's a fluffy queen so cats lovers are welcome!

At start me and my friend asked Matteo with worry "What will we do today?" "Oh, just walk and eat!" And it was true - next three hours we relaxed, walked, chatted about all around and of course tried a lot of food. It appeared from nowhere - just some cafe on the street but offering the best: pizza, ice creame... There were also stroies about the city, history, arts, food, special places.. Matteo is very friendly and attentive, so we had no need to think or worry - we just enjoed our time
Matteo is a GEM. Multiple classes, learned so much! Over the moon appreciate his generous warm heart. Brought all my visiting guests to his classes from age 8 to 65!
