Jean-Yves was born in Saigon (South Vietnam) and raised in France. After two decades of working as an interior designer for a prestigious group; Jean-Yves has taken the bold move to leave his comfort zone and dedicate his time and his life to his two passions : gastronomy and the art of receiving guests. He has been trained in France and Asia in various institutions and establishments. Blending savors, colors and traditions from the Asian and French gastronomies, Jean-Yves invites you to share a unique and unforgettable experience. One of his projects is to create his own team gathering a handful of talented chefs from all over the world.

Was erwartet Sie bei Jean-yves?
This was an unexpected highlight of our week-long trip to Paris that we will not forget. This was more than Michelin restaurant quality meal at a fraction of the price. This was an entire experience, only to be found at the home of Jean-yves, and should be included with any visit to Paris for the full Parisian experience. Located on a narrow, non-descript street in the 3rd Arrondissement, the outside of Jean-Ives' apartment did not give an indication on what we were to experience on the other side. Despite the deceptively cold exterior from the outside, Jean-Ives greeted us warmly, and he led us downstairs where we were seated at the table of his wine-cellar turned dining room. The atmosphere was perfect with its' brick walls and ceiling, and the eclectic decorations mirrored his friendly, warm personality. Without getting into detail on each dish that was served (I could not even begin to do it justice), I'll just leave it that the food was Michelin star quality, but with having Jean-Yves there to talk about his passion in an approachable manner, it was an evening we will not forget. I suggest you make reservations while you still have the chance to have the unique experience of enjoying fine dining and good company in the home of a truly wonderful chef and person. Jean-yves is an amazing chef and culin ary artist. His food was beautiful and tasted divine. I loved his appreciation for the separation of flavors. His direction on how to eat the dishes in order to best taste them was very helpful. The atmosphere was stunningly beautiful but still warm and inviting. It was an honor to dine at such an exceptional venue.
