I am from the Dominican Republic. I have been working in luxury resorts and fine dining restaurants for several years. Since the age of 8, I have been involved with cooking Dominican food. I love our bold flavors that give our food "SAZÓN." I love sharing our food and culture with family and friends. And, I hope to share my passion for cooking and serving with new people who like to try ethnic food to the sounds of Bachata and Merengue music.

This was my first time eating with eatwith and I must say I was blown away by the experience. It is very different than going to a restaurant. It is more personal, detailed and welcoming. At first I didn't know what to expect and I was a bit tense but as soon as I was greeted by Roberto with his kind and friendly smile I felt right at home. Roberto's food is beyond delicious. From the fruit drinks to the bean desert, everything was phenomenal. The tostones were perfectly crispy and they were enhanced by the Dominican salsa. The amazing Spaghetti was different from what I'm used to but delicious nonetheless. I was pleased to eat the salad after the spaghetti instead of before because the dressing served as a palette cleanser. When I received the main course I was blown away by the flavor and couldn't stop eating it. I don't think I'll be going back to a restaurant anytime soon. I have found my favorite place at Eat with Sazon.
