It has been said I watched TV-shows which involved cooking before I watched children’s based TV shows, and one of my first food memories was when I was four years old; I was with my grandfather in a local supermarket. At the candy rack, I was told I could choose whatever I fancied the most. I turned around, went back to the vegetables, filled a paper bag with fresh chanterelles, and told him I would like those fried with butter, salt - and a small sprinkle of parsley.
Today, I am a devoted amateur chef; I still enjoy a decent cooking programme, as well as reading recipes in new as well as old books from all parts of the world. All in favor of finding new inspiration for new food adventures. I enjoy traveling, and the food is as much culture as ancient ruins or divine shrines and temples.
Besides cooking, and travel - I have a huge fascination for photography, and when I travel, you will almost always find me with a large camera around my neck. I have been on photo safaris to South Africa as well as Northern Norway, and 2017 will I explore the coastline of Portugal as well as a longer journey through Morocco. So no time to relax and enjoy Mojitos in the sun.
I am a single man, almost 32 years of age, and even though I am single, I am seldom lonely. I have friends whom I often see, family whom I am very close and the great outdoors is also a friend I turn to when life turns it back at me. I enjoy life as it most and makes every day an experience for myself.
