I am originally from the South of Austria, from Carinthia. My lovely grandma and aunt taught me how to cook and I adjusted my knowledge by becoming an Ayurveda cook. I do eat meat but only rarely as for me it is for special occasions. I am very fond of regional and seasonal products that's why I love to go to local markets. Marmelade, apple sauce, soup cubes, ketchup, bred, cakes ... everything possible I make myself. It tastes way better and I know what ingredients it contains. I also like growing my own vegetables and herbs on my balcony. 
Besides cooking and baking I like to travel and to explore surrounding countries and towns. I love to discover new coffee places, restaurants and design stores. A good reason to come and eat with me if you want to get some insider tipps for your trip to Vienna or other towns like Bratislava or Prague.  
I am working as a German teacher with international experts. I lived in Czech Republic for 5 years, in Belgium and in France for 8 month each. And some years ago I accompanied American School pupils on their People to People program trough the main capitals of Europe. I love taking pictures and I am working on my blog.
