The warmth of the summer has embraced our city, the sun is shining...there's always a reason to celebrate in Rome! What better way than with a delicious dinner, fine wine and great company? Join us for a relaxed evening immersed in the old world charm of the Spanish Steps!
Our cuisine is fundamentally Italian and incorporates many of our Moms' recipes, but also many dishes we have discovered during our travels!
We take great care that all the products with which we cook are of the highest quality, fresh and local from our favourite stand at our neighbourhood produce market. Many of our ingredients are also organic.
On any given evening, you will certainly find numerous antipasti, two first courses, one second course, two side dishes and one dessert.

Barbara and Ida were the perfect hosts! It was such fun to listen to the friends discuss food and Italy. The location is in the heart of the city and beautiful! We came as a family of 5. My daughter and I are both Celiac and needed gluten free, which Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and generous, not only accommodating but also assuring out experience was as detailed and delicious as the others. The food surpassed our expectations, and was among the best after 5 days in Rome! The quantity prepared was also more than humanly possible to eat! Many thanks to both hosts as well as the other guests. It was a great experience to share the evening in discussions of travel and food. We left with many tips of places to venture on this trip and left with dreams to return for more adventures in the future. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!

This was the experience of a lifetime! When you plan a trip to Rome, you must schedule a dinner with Chef Barbara and her husband, Andrea. The night was magical as we met new friends and shared some of the most amazing food. Barbara made sure we experienced true Italian cuisine. My husband has Celiac Disease and she made sure to make his meal Gluten Free! He lacked nothing in the experience or taste of the food. This is truly the one experience we will sign up to do over again.

My friend and I started our Rome vacation at Barbara's home, it was Thanksgiving Eve. It was beyond everything we have expected - great company (we had a very intimate dinner, just the two of us with Barbara's family), wine, delicious food and amazing conversation. True and Authentic Roman experience. Barbara was very attentive to our food allergies/restrictions, and we came back to our hotel ecstatic. THANK YOU, Barbara and family! Lee & Anastasia

Great food, great atmosphere, many to laugh, interesting conversation, nice guests. But the most important thing was that Barbara and her husband Andrea were great hosts, very sympathic, open minded really lovely persons! We really can recommend this event. Thanks for all.
